I have tried everything posted and can't fix this as I'm typing it has the volume button coming out every time I type. No matter how much I try to I can't keep the volume on . Never had this issue ever before. How can I fix this?
I don't understand what you are trying to say. Is it that your volume panel pops up every time you are trying to type something, or that your volume keeps muting itself?

Hey @tiffostrom! Thank you for reaching out. There are a few things that I would like to check with you. First, is your device up to date? If not, please give that a try. Is this a recent occurrence on your device? If you happened to download an app recently and this started, try running your phone in safe mode to see if it's still happening. If it isn't, it's an issue with one of the apps. I'm including a link on how to put your device into safe mode.
The final thing that I can think of off hand would be to remove a case around your phone if you have one on the phone currently, it may be pressing against the button and giving you the troubles.
