Apologies if this is a dumb question but how do I clear the orange dot notification on the settings tab of the phone app? I went through every tab under settings to look for anything new and I can't find anything. I've restarted my phone also.

Are you sure you went through all the settings, even sub-settings?  The orange dot indicates a new setting/piece of information.  The way to clear it is to find that information/setting and open it.  Usually there is also a dot next to the area where there is something new.  It might not even be a setting, but rather something changed in the "about" information, such as after an update it will tell you the new version.

Are you by chance in the Beta program?
If you are, it's a bug in the Beta, Beta 4 it will be fixed!

Yes I am. Thank you so much. I guess I need to read my beta info more carefully. One UI 7 has been working fantastically for me and I didn't even think that could be the problem. Thanks again. 🙂👍

Yes, I've been through everything setting and subsetting. There's no orange dots other than the one you see on my screenshot.

An orange dot on the Settings option typically means a system app update. Go to Settings > About XXX (where XXX is the Samsung app) to check for any system app updates.
(This is not necessarily limited to Beta users.)Screenshot_20250122_113311_Call settings_1000212142_1737574391.png
