Galaxy S24when the flashlight is and I go to turn it off ,if i drag dwn from the notification section/ the left side. there're 2 steps to turn off the flashlight. first step , i drag dwn and it shows me the flashlight. then i tap flashlight where it says on, then i tap tht arrow that asks if i want to turn off. if the light is on n theres only one option. then make it off from the first drag.

Galaxy S24So, what's the issue? It's always going to take more than one motion to turn the flash light off. If will take motions to turn it off from the quick panel. Depending on where the control is on your QP, you will have to extend your QP (1), tap the flashlight icon (2). Even if there was a widget on one of your home screen panels, you'd have to scroll to that panel and tap the icon. However, if you want a one touch solution, just open the camera app when the flashlight is on and the flashlight will immediately turn off. This assumes that you have the camera app on the home screen you are currently on, otherwise you sill will need another motion to scroll to that screen.

Galaxy S24What's not efficient? You have an easy way to turn it on and turn it off. What is not efficient would be if you did not have the flashlight notification bubble with the option to turn it off. You'd have to open your quick panel, locate the flashlight icon, and then turn off. Same amount of actions. Since there is no flashlight widget to add to the screen, *the* most efficient way to quickly turn off the flashlight would be to simply open and then close the camera app. It will save you an extra movement. You can of course keep the magnifier widget on your screen - it has a button to turn the flashlight on/off because sometimes you need the light to read the magnified text, but no reason you can't use it solely as a flashlight toggle.

Galaxy S24yes, i know. tht is why i said if its dragged down from the notification side. but to its kinda not smart. because from tht side , the notify side, one drag shows the flashlight n tht drop dwn option, then when tap tht drop option you're asked if you want to turn it off. if there were other options aside from of like brightness level, i wouldve understood. so from the first drag, off option shouldve been right there.

Galaxy S24@collwatt Just say "Hi Bixby, turn on the flashlight" and then "Hi Bixby, turn off the flashlight".
Or use "Hey Google" for the same.
