Galaxy S24Yes, you've read that right. The cheap midranger that's 4x less expensive and has no access to raw shooting consistently produces sharper, more accurate images in low light situations. On the s24u my face is pink, eyes are out of focus, no detail in the hair. Same goes for the rear (normal) camera. While doing a portrait on the a56 I can see the skin texture, eyes/hair in focus, pleasant neutral colors. s24u is horrible, blocky over sharpened and over noise reduced.
I would really like to know what Samsung has to say about this

Galaxy S24A big choice for me is the camera quality. I have an old s22 and the pics are pretty good. But I've been thinking about upgrading.

Galaxy S24mate the s22 (ultra variant) is day and night compared to the s24u. The telephoto lens was much better (you could see logos on planes) on the s24u the plane is a smudge... s22u had better colors and much nicer cameras overall

Galaxy S24I own the whole lineup: S22U, 23U, 24U, and 25U. My partner has the A56 (she hates complicated phones). And trust me, when we're taking a photo, we never grab(or think to grab) the A56 over my S25 Ultra. It's not even an afterthought.
You're going to need to make this make sense. Just outright claiming it's better because you say so is so out of touch with reality.

Galaxy S24Have you checked to see if there is something in the camera settings that could be causing this? Try resetting the camera setting and see if the pictures still come out bad. Also, make sure you are not using a glass protector over the camera lenses and that there are no smudges on the lenses.
Hope you can get better pictures on the S24U.
