One Ui App Search location

When can we expect the app search to be configurable?  Moving this without making it configurable is a huge blunder and makes me want to move away from Samsung.

I’m sorry but I haven’t heard any discussions about making it movable since it was moved to improve one-handed operations.

It was moved to the bottom of the screen rather than the top. That's just insane that you can't choose to pin it to the top or the bottom of the page. there's no way I can put it back up on top. On the bottom it's so not ergonomically or intuitively aligned

Samsung's new design language is a bottom-up approach. Everything should be reachable with you thumbs.
When you open the app drawer, the search bar is on the bottom, where it should be. You shouldn't have to reach to get access to the search bar.

I get it. Change is hard. Muscle memory takes time to relearn, and you will relearn.

It makes zero cents to me at all why I can't just pin that search bar to the top of the page. That's where it was located before I understand you're saying some people want to have it down at the bottom for one-handed mode? I don't use that. And I should be able to pin it to the top if I need to. What's the reasoning behind not being able to move the search bar?

the reasoning is their UI designers have to justify their salary somehow and we'll just have to adapt. I'm switching brands

Samsung needs to realize for many the search bar is a rarely used feature. At the bottom it's in the way. Having the ability to move it back to the top leaves it there in the rare instances it's needed.
