Modes and Routines stopped working

The routines I have set up will not work now. I have cleared data and cache then restarted the phone. I even tried uninstalling updates. The app takes forever to stop the spinning dots so that I can even select anything. Once it does, I select a mode and I can't scroll or select anything. If I try to set up routines, there are no options for "if" or "then" and if I try to search for one, nothing shows up. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello everyone, thank you for your feedback. We have identified a situation on some devices where the Modes and Routines app, along with its automation function, fails to execute properly because of compatibility problems between apps. To resolve this, we are working on an update version of the ‘Modes and Routines’ app to improve this situation, so please make sure to keep your device’s app version up to date.

The update will be rolled out gradually. The schedule and version number are subject to change and may differ depending on your region or carrier.

Have you tried clearing the cache partition? If all other options fail to resolve the issue, a factory reset may be needed. Just make sure to "BACK UP YOUR PHONE" before proceeding with a factory reset.

Clearing the "cache partition" can help resolve any issues caused by old or corrupted system cache data.

Follow the steps below,

Clear the cache partition
- Turn the phone off (shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the side key to select.
- Press the volume down key to highlight yes, then press the side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system is now highlighted.
- Press the side key to restart the device.

I did a chat with samsung yesterday & they recommended clearing the cache partition after everything else (not a factory reset, I'm trying to avoid a reset) has failed. That didn't help either. Mine definitely stopped working after my phone updated. Samsung's suggestions were 1. Wait to see if there's an update that fixes it. 2. Factory reset. 3. Take it in to a store to see if they can figure it out. I did mention that there was a lot of people reporting this problem in the community and he should send it up the food chain to fix the problem.

Mine hasn't worked since Thursday night. Have tried everything, even factory reset it. Nothing has worked. I've seen others having issues as well. Some type of bug.

That's when mine stopped working, too.

And by the way, factory resetting worked for a couple hours but then right back to not working. I wasted several hours backing things up.

I have also had these issues. I uninstalled routines +, cleared the partition, and did the whole clear cache and data. Still, nothing has fixed it. I'm not sure if an update caused this to stop working, but i had a lot of routines.

Same here. It started last night after a restart along with some other issues.
