One UI 7

Why are we all still waiting on the one UI 7 update? Apple is an inferior company and they get updates WAY faster than any galaxy devices. Please Samsung up your game

Were waiting for the update because it still has some bugs that they are working on fixing before releasing it to the S24's and older models

Apple pushes out software faster. They also push out software that isn't fully compatible with every device, leaving it to push out hot fixes for the devices it broke. Samsung tries really hard to push out updates to individual devices in their lineup to ensure that the update doesn't brick your phone. I would rather have an update that isn't buggy that requires an update to fix it a month later.

We are waiting for them to sell more S25s, because there's no real major hardware differences between the S24 and 5. Therefore the only real big update is the integration of ONE UI 7, and that's why we're still waiting.

Like seriously though... we've been waiting for this update for a while now, and it just keeps getting delayed 😑

Especially for us Fold 6's like we payed 2k for a phone for the promises of future updates... I don't think I've seen a meaningful update since the galaxy Fold 3

Apple makes their own operating system.  Apple distributes their own operating system, and will do so regardless of whether or not it will brick older models.

Samsung does not make an operating system, they make a home screen off of an existing operating system, that they did not develop, and have several different models that they actually want to keep running after the release.

Samsung has not delayed this release, as they never set a date for it to release, they are programming this entirely themselves, so it will take some time.  This does not circumvent your 7 years of updates, as that is fully resolved by releasing monthly updates, which they are still doing on all applicable devices.  There is no promise to get software that is not ready or unreleased to your devices.

Samsung did this on purpose. Don't bother clicking on Sammobile or any other site because it's clickbait, and they all say the same thing with an added "disclaimer." Samsung is doing this on purpose and using "bugs" for the continued delay only to sell more S25 models. The s24 ultra got a note that said the beta is closed and that the stable version should come soon. I've seen some say the S24 will get it in April, and older models like the s22 will get it in May. Samsung truly angered a lot of people with this update release but...I'd rather have a stable bug free update than something that could potentially brick your phone. Either way, we are playing the waiting game so they can sell more s25 units. That's what the delay is all about.

Samsung, I wish you would communicate with us what you are waiting on. I'm tired of constantly upgrading your products while i work on not very great product or service speed when they're no reason it shouldn't be fastest in industry development.

I guess the Apple phones that all get the same update that Apple fully created within might have something to with their streamlined update efficiency. Google, then phone manufacturer for all their different models, then carrier edits equal several variables.
