Can I change how I navigate to my notifications?

Trying to get to my notifications now is driving me nuts! Can I change this?

If your on 7.0 swipe down on the top left of the screen and you should see a pencil tap it and it should allow you to switch back to the old way.

I believe thats where the option is I don't have 7.0 at the moment but from memory thats where it was located

Let me know if you figure out how to get the apps in alphabetical order and run side to side instead of up and down lol
