I got a Samsung Galaxy S24FE 5G earlier this year but I had so much trouble with it that I had to do a factory reset and send it back and now I have had a refurbished phone for over a month and I am having the exact same problem with messages not going into the app! It will even show a number that the message is there but when I click to read the message it will say "Something went wrong. We ran into a problem. Try again later. If there's still a problem, contact Customer Service." Or I will go into voicemail because I see a number that there is a voicemail but there's still no voicemail there. Sometimes a message will be in *86 even though it's not in the app, but not always. And to tell you the truth I got nowhere with calling Samsung. They claim the problem is with Verizon so they are no help at all and I'm getting nowhere with Verizon. So, I am in a stupid circle going nowhere.

Does anyone know why I am having a problem with voicemail not going into the app when it clearly shows that I have space for 19 more voicemails? On the earlier phone I had to turn in, it would show it was full and didn't have space left for any more calls even though it was empty!

And on the other phone, I even had problems with not even hearing the phone ring when calls came in even though the phone was in my hand and the volume was all the way up. And it wouldn't even show who was calling. And I would go to the Verizon store and they would call me with me sitting next to him and he couldn't hear my phone ring and then he would call somebody at Verizon customer service and they would call my phone with both of us sitting there and he couldn't hear it ring then either. So I have no way to tell if I'm really missing calls still even on this phone.

At the moment, I'm not sure if I will ever buy another Samsung phone again.

But I sure would love to hear if somebody can tell me why voicemails aren't coming into the Samsung app? And it's more confusing because sometimes voicemail does come in if it's from an individual! Something is surely amiss.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I have an eSIM card so I can't do anything about that. The phone does ring sometimes. Just like I get voicemail occasionally but most of them don't go there. So my guess would be I'm getting voicemail if it's personal but if it's the company voicemail that I'm not getting the voicemail. And today I got a voicemail in *86 from the VA and would you believe the first half of the message was cut off. It was a robot trying to verify an appointment but I couldn't do anything with it because so much of the first half of the message was gone It could only tell me the time but not the date. That has never happened before. I don't know what you mean by signal bars or full bars, but it never looks like I have a problem with Wi-Fi showing the full bars and I can't imagine that of my phone needed charging that that would keep a call from coming in but I've never paid attention to that. If I reset the network, I will lose every one of my settings that I had to set up myself that I've already done once.

Would you believe that partial voicemail that came in from the VA today doesn't even show as an incoming call on my smartphone!! And of course that call wasn't in the Samsung voicemail app so I only got it by calling *86. But the truth is, would you believe, I have had one voicemail come in 2 and 1/2 days after the call came in!! But I don't remember if it came in as a voicemail or If it was only in *86. YET Samsung claims the problem is Verizon.

In phone dial setting where you dial top right 3 dot deal settings go thru those after that press and hold 1 for voicemail and should be able to adjust greeting and pin etc

I did that in. I have seen it before but under voicemail it shows Service Provider is "My carrier." It doesn't say it is Verizon but I assume that is okay.

I don't see where to press and hold 1 for voicemail?

On the dial pad as if your calling someone press and hold one theres usually i icon one the hmm not sure why it says my carrier could be generic default. Try the press 1 should take you to voicemail

What is hmm? I have no clue where to press the 1. When I press the 3 vertical dots, the only options are speed dial numbers, Open to last viewed and Settings. And if I click on Settings, there are too many options there to know what to do next.

I did figure out how to do that and learned something new!! But all it does is ask me to enter my password to access my messages. And there's nothing in the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner except add call, show RTT keyboard, view contact, send message and emergency call.
