I've never hated a Samsung phone before but I really hate this one (Samsung S24 Ultra). It's the first one that was not easy to set up or transfer from my old Samsung phone. At least 3 to 4 times a week, I've had to shut down the phone and then restart it. Apps that have worked with Bluetooth in the past, at times now say I'm not connected to WiFi. Or the app will work fine and not two minutes later there's something wrong with the cellular connection. The only way to fix these issues is to shut it completely down. And if you make any type of changes, you have to shut down then as well.
Then I have the annoying notification sound that goes off every time I get some type of message. It doesn't matter how low I put the volume either. I haven't had the phone but a couple of months and I'm ready to get rid of it. Not even sure if a new version comes out that I will invest my money in another Samsung or get a totally different type of phone. It is not user friendly as all my other Samsung phones have been.
Sunday was the first time using the map app and I couldn't get directions to where we were going because it wanted me to connect with WiFi. Nothing worked to try and fix that (especially because all the WiFi's in the area were locked - no surprise there). Apps should be through Bluetooth anyway (or at least they used to be). I'm a regular person, not someone who works in IT. I'd rather go back to a rotary phone then have to deal with a phone so complicated and unbelievably frustrating.
I will second that. No problems whatsoever in transferring from my previous phone, no odd notifications, battery life is very good, charges fast. No complaints.
I have had this phone since it was released and have none of these problems as well. Battery life is amazing, and everything functions as it should. I transferred everything from my S22U quickly and easily. Sounds like you have so crazy settings that might be causing some of the issues.
