No longer able to text in group chat using Samsung messages?

All my settings are correct!

Out of nowhere I cannot text in my group chats😒 it's telling me to switch to the Google messenger but I don't want to nor do i like the Google messenger. My text box is not even showing up for group text messages. Is there anyways to fix this without switching to Google messenger?

Just wondering if anyone has an update on this issue because I've been experiencing it since I got my new phone in January and it's driving me nuts. all of my settings are correct as well.

I'm in the same boat as you. Just had to remake a group chat for the 3rd time bc I'm suddenly not allowed to reply. I don't even have a group chat setting to change.

What i have done is create a chat myself with the same people and I can reply there. So I have two chats one for my replies and one for the groups replies. I go back and forth between the 2

Same thing here, started in February. I can reply from my galaxy watch on the Samsung message app, just not my phone. Wonder if an update to messages app caused this? I wish someone would fix it!
