Newest Update killed my battery life.

No new apps, nothing changed except that last update and now my battery drains 20% faster. None of my settings were changed by me and no new apps and I have to charge my phone 2 to 3 times a day. It's ridiculous.

There is often a slight increase in battery usage or drain after a update like on computers for example but it's mostly minimal maybe submit feedback on the issue

Clearing the "cache partition" can help resolve any performance or battery issues caused by old or corrupted system cache data.

How do I do that?

To clear the cache partition:

- Shut the phone off (Shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Side key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, then press the Side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Side key to restart the device.
