What's up with the microphone? Is it selective with what it records? Smart controlled microphone?
Long story short I have a mouthy cat that talks all day every day so sometimes I record the cat to send audio files in text. My old Note 8 recorded cat clearly 100% of the time. S24 however records my voice fine but 99% of the time cat meows not recorded at all no matter how close cat is to phone or how loud the meows are.
Any suggestions on how to fix? Whatever Samsung has done with microphone it's ridiculous that the microphone from a 2015 records better than a 2024 model. If it it is some smart tech recorder there should be an option to turn that off.
