Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

I have this same issue & I've noticed my battery tends to drop faster than normal. I checked here and reddit to see if it's not a one-off situation. Any news on when this will be fixed?

Issue is back again with the latest Software Update

I have the same issue. S24 from the US - unlocked. Been like this since updating to one ui 7. Hopped for a fix in BYD9  version but it is even worse.

I received one more update after One UI 7 on my S24+ unlocked, and the problem still persist.

Build number ends in: BYD7 too.

I have a s25 ultra. It came with one ui 7. I'm having the exact same issue after the new April update AP3A that came out today. It did not used to do this with location when I bought the phone.

S24 from USA, updated to UI7 yesterday and the icon stays all time

Turning off Google location accuracy and WIFI & Bluetooth scanning in Location menu fix the problem and battery drain.

Uncheck above options then toggle Location OFF then ON.

This will fix the problem.

But We need the real fix soon.

Interestingly, it looks like just turning off wifi fixes it for me. The moment I turn wifi on it starts right away.

Having same problem on s25 ultra after April update. I tried all options mentioned here and nothing worked. This bug has to be fixed

Happens to me too on my S24+. Funny how my S23 got the update today and it's not having that issue. Learned if you search for Location Accuracy in your settings and turning it off makes it go away but still not a solution.
