Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

A combo of this and revoking Location access for Continuity Services seems to have helped - but the GPS constant ping is still present, now it's just coming from Phone Services alone as opposed to Google Play Services and Continuity Services as well. I appreciate the workaround and am hoping you or someone else may have a tip for taming Phone Services until Samsung gets it together.

This issue was reported by beta people. Am surprised Samsung released the stable/official 1UI 7 without a fix.
What I do now is turn location/gps off from control panel when I don't use it.

I've got a couple important apps that depend on location unfortunately... I'm absolutely shocked Samsung released "stable" 7 with a bug this big though.

As long as you have access to a handy charger, it's ok for now. I do turn it back on whenever I need gps access.

It's 2025, if you need a charger on hand to get through the day there's a serious problem

I agree. This should not have been released without a fix. Especially when it's been reported during beta 6.

U can keep location on just turn off location accuracy.

All those services coming on is normal, the culprit is Google play services combined with location accuracy.

Interesting, I've never had this issue (flip6 beta3) but I also have routines to turn on and off GPS set up. Someone mentioned that as a possible fix so I guess that's why I never had the issue.
