Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

No issues with other devices, it's eero mesh checked the heat map. Didn't find any dead spots. Before beta 6 it was good.

The issue happened in beta 6.
I wrote a fix it solution and it worked for me and several others said the same.

Essentially, you can uninstall updates for Google Play Services and then reinstall.
Comes at a cost though, I had to reset my watch ultra.

Fixes the issue at hand.

Alternatively, or in addition to, you can setup a Bixby Routine where you specify which apps you would like GPS to turn on when open. Otherwise, GPS would stay off as you toggle it off in Quick Settings. The Routine takes care of the rest and you can edit the routine to add more apps if you like.

Yeah, saw that. It's pain resetting the watches :-(. I have ring, watch 7 & Ultra. It's lot of time wasted..

Fixed the issue for you right?
It's a pain, especially having to reset your watch with all the settings and customizations.
If the GPS glitch is gone and battery drain, then it is worth it. 😉

It will come back thou. To avoid it turn off location accuracy. It helps a lot! This bug is bad and needs to be addressed asap. Once this bug starts it drains your battery and heats up the phone crazyyyyyy.

This last time doing the workaround, I set up th watch as new too and I turned off the location on the watch as well. No more issues at all. It's crazy how good this update is without this location issue, its crazy the screen on time I get. I have been testing since beta 1 and the battery life is so good without this bug. I get 11 plus hours on screen. And the same amount and plus on screen off time too.
