This is the last time I'm buying a Samsung from a carrier, it's been a century for updates to arrive š

Agreed. Only reason I did is for band 14 on FirstNet.

yeah but I don't get why people join carriers just to get certain bands when there are programs out there such as DFS that you connect your Samsung to and you can enable any band you want that you may not have or what not it's what I did now I have T-Mobile as a carrier but I do occasionally run on AT&t US Cellular as well as Canadian carriers but some of them only started roaming on certain ones once I enabled all bands, but yeah there's a lot that you could do and carrier version or not, if you really need updates sooner and you want to do this and that you could always just put the unlocked firmware with Odin on your phone, they're customizable you just got to know what you're doing

Samsung does not offer the same deals that AT&T does. Last year I traded in a screen shattered S20 FE and got an S24+ 512 GB for free. Well, we do still pay the tax on the full price at order time, but that's it. Yes, I have to stay with AT&T for 3 years, but I've been with them for 30 years (since they were Cingular around here) so it's not like I'm going to leave them anytime soon.

Galaxy S24The carriers send out the updates to all customers on their network, not just locked phones. So, as long as you remain with AT&T, it will take just as long to get your update (maybe a day earlier since they don't embed their junk in it)

It's mainly an att issue (check the other posts, you're not the only one). Try T-Mobile or something.
