Is there a way to get rid of the Samsung Internet??! It's annoying forced pop-ups have me contemplating switching phones....

If you are meaning the Samsung internet browser, you might cnsider downloading Chrome.

Sorry but you can't uninstall Samsung Internet but you can disable it.

Long press on Samsung Internet 

Click the little i

Then click Disable at the bottom

Unless you have a dev edition phone like me you can't uninstall it, you can only disable it.

If you are getting pop-ups originating from Samsung Internet, it's because you visited a sketchy site and had malware installed, or a site you visited was infected.  On its own, no browser spontaneously sends pop-ups.  You need to run a malware scan.  In the meantime, empty the browser cache and cookies.
