Is there a way to disable the sidebar in gallery when viewing an album

I keep accidentally sliding the sidebar in gallery when scrolling in an album. I wanted to know if there was a permanent way to disable it because it gets annoying having to constantly slide it back when my fingers naturally swipe towards the right. I already asked a bot on customer service but it gave me a solution that I didn't have which was the side panel toggle switch.

First I didn't even notice there was a bar in the gallery.
The only way the bar went away was if all the pictures fit one one page otherwise there will be a bar based on my testing.
Now human behavior training would be scroll in the middle vs the edge.

I have already tried scrolling from the middle and left, but I'm right handed so it still happens more than I mean for it to.

I agree with @BLuvly no bar i can see on side only a bar if you can call it that or linw that repeats the pictures. In line

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable activating the side bar when you swipe from the side and hold in the gallery. I sometimes activate it by mistake as well.

Just swipe back to the left. It's meant to be a convenient way of moving from album to album, but if it's annoying, just swipe it back out of view.

I know that but it's an inconvenience to me because no matter if I swipe from the middle of my screen or the left, it still comes out when I don't mean to slide it out. So if I could just disable it to begin with then it wouldn't be such a irritating problem since it happens so much.

There are so many inconveniences in life. This is not one of them. There is no way to disable the sidebar. I don't know why it disturbs you so much, it's such an easy thing to ignore.

I understand that, but to me in my life when I spend a lot of time in my gallery it is an inconvenience. Maybe not for you or a few other people but for me it is. I scroll in my gallery a lot looking for inspiration for my art because I draw, so I was just looking for a solution to make that easier. It may not be something you notice but when it happens every time I scroll down it gets annoying just as anything that happens too much is.

this is the most useless and stupid design in one UI, samsung developers might think it is cool, but its function does nothing more than making the whole interface narrower and difficult.
