Hello, this is my first time posting here.

For a few days I've noticed my screen on time being inaccurate/time not even adding up (ie I could have 05:30hrs of sot with two apps saying two hours each, but then I'll have another app saying 1 hour of sot, with the battery usage percentage being off (some apps I know that are normally high in percentage could show as low).

I've looked around a bit to see if anyone was reporting the same issue, but apparently not, but I'm not sure what could've caused this to happen to me.

Initially I thought it was the OneUI7 beta, since I'm enrolled in it on my S24+. However I've noticed the same thing happening with my Tab S9, and that obviously doesn't have the beta.

Both devices are up to date.

I know it's a small and minor thing, but I wanted to post it here just in case anyone else may have the same issue.

Apologies if I posted in the wrong discussion.

Don't know for sure but could be a issue with a app or something have you run the diagnostic test

Not sure how that would fix anything but I did it. Didn't change anything.

My phone has done that in the past, but make sure your date and time is set correctly. Either automatically or the right time zone where you are located. Also check and see if your permission for location is needed for that app.

My date and time have been both set to auto for a long time. I don't see how location permission would be needed for anything.

SOT might be including the time that the app is running in the background and not just when you're are actively looking at it on the screen. I get SOT for Spotify when driving because I have it playing through Android Auto on my car and my phone is in a seat pocket and the screen on the phone is off.

That's the thing I just use messaging apps (WhatsApp & Discord) and their background activity isn't counted for sot.

And like I mentioned in my original post app sot isn't added up to the actual sot (in this case WhatsApp & my browser)

Not to mention I know I didn't spend that long in WhatsApp to begin with so something is going wrong here. 1740173332237.jpg
