Galaxy S24
My wife and I both use Galaxy S24 devices, and we’ve been using the AI translation feature in Listening mode for English to Korean for the past two months. We’ve noticed that about 15–20% of the translations are inaccurate. While we understand that no technology is perfect, we’d like to see improvements in this area. Most of the inaccuracies seem to come from a lack of cultural understanding and misinterpretation of words.

I understand what your saying, however one needs to look deeper. Most translations go by universally accepted methods which tend to favor one translation. If the language translation went into dialects in some languages there would be 100 or more ways to say a pencil or a glass of water, etc. These translations use generally accepted rules to equate one word or picture image in one language to another with regard to their universal language. For instance in Chinese the symbol for television-english dialect means in Chinese dialect electric vision and vice versa.
