Galaxy S24@dandygyan1 The S24 is rated IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 min). Personally.... I would only submit your phone to water if you, (1) have everything backed up, and (2) are good with replacing your phone.
The water resistance isn't really designed for you to use your phone as an underwater device. It is more to protect it from accidental or incidental water exposure.
There is no code to dial.

Galaxy S24What would the code do? You think there is a vacuum inside the device that can check for water tightedness? Codes can only be used to check to see if a certain hardware module functions, and there is no electronics that control waterproof abilities. This is like asking for a code to see if your phone is inside a Ziplock bag.
There is only one test for this. Put it in water. If it survives, Pass! If it dies, Fail (and you are out of warranty as they don't warranty any water caused damage)! Do YOU want to risk the test?

Galaxy S24There is a similar post on Samsung Reddit where a person used their S10 as an underwater camera and it did cause some issue and was able to get it to turn back on but lost the ability to use touch on the screen. Granted it was a 5 year old phone but still, I don't get why someone would purposely do this to a phone that isn't meant for it, especially a $1200+ phone. If you are planning on using it for underwater photography get a waterproof camera, they cost less than 1/3 the price of an S24U. JMO!
