I'm trying to figure out how to get my messages to vibrate when on vibrate mode. The only way to have this happen is to have it vibrate when on sound mode and it will only vibrate if it is allowed to do so on sound mode. It will do it for the ringtone, but not message tone. This is frustrating since every other phone I've used has this ability.
What app is it Google messages, messages by samsung ? Notification vibration won't work in any mode albeit sound on or silent? If you switch between ring mute and vibrate mode, I see options to select a type of vibration pattern for each sound profile. Does it vibrate when you get notifications for apps or email? Try and clear the messages cache and restart phone maybe.
