Hey have you tried simply if you hold your finger on the app itself you can go to your settings and clear the data/cache people say clear the cache first just clear them both and then I recommend a restart of the phone try it then
If that doesn't work you can always try to uninstall the updates because it could be a bug with the most recent update and then if that doesn't work people are going to say factory reset your device at that point just don't use the gaming of that because if you're like me you have a lot of stuff stored on your phone and it's going to go bye you can only back up so much
