Today, I had to re-enroll my fingerprints on my S24. I hadn't had any recent updates that I'm aware of.

I previously had 4 fingerprints registered, and it wouldn't recognize any of them.

Does anyone have any idea why?

@officialguy I have to go through this procedure during the winter a few times. My hands tend to be dry and the phone won't recognize my dried out fingers. So I delete the oldest and add a new one.

Did you change, or add, a screen protector by any chance? If so you would need to redo them. Another thing is to turn on touch sensitivity if it is off. I had mine on and just noticed it was off so not sure if the last update did that, mine still work fine, but I know I had mine turned on after adding a screen protector 6 months ago.

Nope, I didn't add, or remove a screen protector. My hands and screen were clean. I'm baffled by it.

Lotion? Moisture?

Nope. No lotion, and my hands were clean. No conditions had changed. It didn't recognize any of the 4 fingerprints I'd been using.

The only thing I've noticed sometimes that there is some mild separation when there is a screen protector installed. Sometimes after a drop. This can give the sensor some issues. The other thing I do is it enroll each finger twice. This seems to help.
