Fold 4 not eligible for trade in?

I went to check out the pre order for the Samsung s24 ultra but the fold 4 is not eligible?? Only the 3 and 5?

I normally love samsung. All my life. But this one threw me for a loop. I purchased the Fold4 14 months ago. Like the phone but wanted the s pen and new S24 Ultra. More like my old Notes that I had for many years. Now I find out I can not trade Fold4, but you can trade every other model??? What gives, very discouraging. Poor choice Samsung...poor choice.

Last time I checked they didn't.. :(.  Probably bc they're not in the foldable market yet.  Best bet is to sell it independently.  That's what I will if they don't resolve this debacle.

I guess Samsung doesn't considers my Fold 4 to be valuable enough for a trade in, or me as a Fold 4 owner to be a valuable enough customer to keep.  I spend a lot of money on gadgets too.  Apple lets you trade in high end Apple phones from the previous few years to keep you as a customer.  I'm really surprised Samsung would not.

one customer service rep told me it was a glitch in the system, the other rep told me that the zfold 4 isnt eligble for trade in.............what is going on?!

I chatted again and I swear the answers are scripted.. depending on how I ask they say it's not available or it's highlighted to be added.. I asked if I was chatting with AI and didn't get an answer lol

It has to be a glitch in the system since zfold 1 to 5 is up there except for the 4.

Does anybody know any influencer who can make quick YouTube video or tiktok to get this message out to samsung leadership? Like I said above whatever it is, just come out clean so we don't spiral in these forums endlessly
