Fingerprint issues since last security update

I have been having fingerprint issues ever since the last security update. I re-register them and then it stops working again. I have a galaxy screen protector, my case is not covering the screen. Does anybody have a fix to this? I have also restarted my phone.

One possible solution is to remove the screen protector.

Every winter my hands dry out and this causes issues with reading fingerprints. Lotion or slightly wetting your finger tops can help. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing or not.

Here in the Members app in the Support area you should run the diagnostics for the fingerprint sensor. If it fails, you can create and send an error report to Samsung tech support.

I stopped fingerprints all together. Too many complications and once you think about the billions of prints to keep an eye on that even after you believe all is good with your print again it begins to complicate. No more, you do once twice 3rd if you're willing the risk. But enough is enough. Even great companies do not have all answers. So I'll keep coming back to see if any one human who has the guys has the right answer to get my confidence back on this fingerprint issue. Thank to all of you out there.
