Edge lighting only the screen is off

I've no idea but it's logically to have this option. But it seems devs did something wrong. We have the option to show a lot of animation when screen is on (what for if I already watching on it?) and optional setting to show also at off screen. 

I need these animations only on the off screen to attract my attention to the phone!

Go to the samsung store> search good lock > download Edge lighting +.

On my S23+ the edge lighting effect does show up even when I'm not using the phone and the screen is off.

I now use the Edge Lighting+ plug-in for Good Lock as it's much easier to see than the effects that came with the phone.
