Don't like the One UI 7 battery life pill

The new pill icon SUCKS. Can barely read the percentage left. Change it back! Or give us the option. 

Just another case to change something for the sake of change, without any thought or polling to see if it is liked. I bet no one thinks it's better than precious bar with percentage next to it. 

Need to have it in stupid pill form for some reason cause it's "cool"? Fine. But don't put the number inside of it that is barely visible in the greyed out area.

I read somewhere where they are going to change it in one ui 8 so we'll see how that goes

This update is a downgrade for me, I used to use everything in the status bar. Battery indicator I can barely see anymore, Bluetooth is gone, 5g UC no longer there. This update makes me want to get rid of this phone and try something else, maybe IPhone.

Awe sorry to hear that and I have now gotten used to the battery icon and as for the rest of what u said I didn't even notice that and if u want to leave samsung and go with another company then go ahead maybe u will like the other company or maybe you won't

Can you just remove it from the status bar, like you can with the current (old) battery icon.  While it is handy to be able to glance at the battery level, it's kind of useless if you can't read it, so why have it take up status bar space?  I simply created a routine to remind me to charge the battery when it goes below 30%.  This gives me enough time to be aware that I need to get to a charger and still have enough time to use the phone until I do and I don't have to constantly glance at my phone.

I put a battery widget on my home screen. now I don't need binoculars to see the level.

Hi. 

Would you want to turn that battery status bar off or make it toggleabile. It was just fine just having the number there.  Now i can't even read the number and it's an eyesore.  (Yes i have the percent option turned on) .

You can turn it off using QuickStar. That is part of Samsung’s Good Lock. You can find it in Samsung’s Galaxy Store.
