Disable/remove icons of Home Screen Dock?

Can I disable or remove the bottom row of icons on my s24+ Home Page? The one that appears on each page. I want to put icons just on Home.

You can remove all icons in the dock, long press on each icon, then tap on remove!

I want to remove the dock itself. Be able to put app icons on that bottom row without them being on every page.

That worked on all except the QR and scanner button.

As others have said, that's the quick launch bar, you would put your most used apps there, and then you can quickly launch them from any of your home pages.  Most people keep, at the very least, the phone dialer there - but you can put anything you want there.
