Bluetooth connection name

Recently, when my phone connects to either my 2015 GMC Denali, or my 2024 Kia Sorento, the vehicle display says something like “connected to yyYYYyyZZ_wWWy” or something similar. They are never the same. Does anyone know why? It used to say “Connected to DavesS24 Ultra”.

Thats odd did your device name get changed some how I've never seen that happen

Having the same problem, I unpaired the Bluetooth and checked the name which is supposed to be Galaxy S24 Ultra, rebooted my phine and paired the Bluetooth again. It shows up correctly for a while but then goes back to random numbers and letters
