Hey everyone,

I’m facing an issue where my Bluetooth headphones/speakers work fine with other apps (like Spotify, phone calls, etc.), but when I try to play a video on YouTube, there’s no sound through Bluetooth. The video plays, but the audio either stays on the phone’s speaker or goes completely silent.

Things I’ve tried so far:

Repaired Bluetooth device

Cleared YouTube app cache & data

Restarted phone and Bluetooth device

Checked volume settings (everything is fine)

Tried on mobile data & Wi-Fi (same issue)

Other apps are working perfectly fine with Bluetooth. The issue is only with YouTube.

Is anyone else facing this problem? Any suggestions to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

I found the solution! In the YouTube volume control bar, different audio modes like Bluetooth and Mobile Audio are displayed. Tap on these options, and you'll see the Bluetooth option. Select it to switch the audio output to your Bluetooth device...

I have same issue with Pandora, couldn't ever get it figured out. AI said to. Heck my Companion app, nothing. Downloaded Spotify it works fine on bluetooth, plus so far everything is working even my hearingaids. Since I have Spotify, I have archived Pandora, waiting for UI 8, download and see if the new OS system can correct this annoying problems that keeps popping up.
