I had an update on my s23 ultra yesterday but it was not the one ui 7 beta

You have to enroll in the beta to get the beta updates.  OneUI 7.0 wont show up otherwise until it is actually release ready.

How do I join the beta program?

My phone is carrier unlocked, but I am unable to locate the beta information or application. How or where do I go to get it? Still running S24 Ultra UI 6.1 at the moment

In the member app, the front page (discover) on the top ad area, slide 14, then click 2nd banner that has join highlighted in black, scroll to the bottom and enroll, good luck it hasn't worked out for me yet...

Carrier unlocked devices will not get this unless the initial carrier was T-Mobile.

Carrier unlocked means that it was locked to the carrier at one point, but was issued an unlock.  These devices have a model number ending in U.

Factory unlocked devices should get the banner.

Factory unlocked means that the device was purchased directly from Samsung, and Unlocked was selected.  These can also be sold elsewhere but usually the carriers will only sell locked variants.  These devices have a model number ending in U1.

@userUcttxRXaVQ Even though your device is unlocked, it looks like your phone has firmware from a provider installed. And you are using a SIM card from a different provider.
