Galaxy S24When I first hooked mine up to my car, it did not work. I was informed that I needed to remove the Samsung music app, and to re-download it from the play store. I did this and got the same results. I then pressed play in Samsung music, and it started playing the music through my car's audio system. It now works whenever I plug it in to use Android Auto. I do not know if both things need to be done, or if it will just start working when you try to play a song for the first time using the smartphone screen. I also noticed that whenever it switches from my S22 Ultra in my car using Bluetooth to the Android Auto cable to my S24 Ultra, that the volume is way low, at like 7, so I need to crank the volume, but this may just be a feature on my gen 8 Camry. My car does NOT support wireless android auto, FYI
