Galaxy S24How to clean up the image data in Samsung, which has the revert option, meaning the data is stored somewhere?
For example, I edited a 50-second video but only needed the last 10 seconds, so I cut it down. Now there's a revert option, meaning it will revert to 50 seconds, but I don't need that 40-second video. It's eating my memory. How do I clean up that type of memory? The same goes for images.

Galaxy S24Go to My Files settings > About My Files > tap on the 'My Files' several times until it shows 'enable MyFiles Labs'
Go back to My Files settings > MyFiles Labs > Original files of edited image/video files > you can select and delete them.
You need to be really sure that you don't want the original files!

Galaxy S24This is an exact, word-for-word copy of this post. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S23/Where-are-originals-stored-after-an-image-is-edited-i...
All you had to do was link to the post, but OK. You also left out a step. The "original files of edited images..." control is in the developer options of the labs.

Galaxy S24@Mohammedtahazaki The Media File Guardian component of Samsung's Good Guardians provides an easy way to find and delete all those files saved for reverting.
Good Guardians is in the Galaxy Store.
