6.1.1 update/boost mobile

Hey guys. I have the boost infinite plan. According to the service I switch networks depending on what area im in. Whichever has the best connection. I live in Ohio when should I get the update. I'm new to galaxy ive had IPhones so im used to their updates and rollout. I've seen some people getting them probably depending on country any info that I get is appreciated because I've only had this phone for a little under a month

Its unknown when your carrier will push the update

It's very carrier dependent that's why I don't like Android and they're updates and boost Mobile in general is one of the notoriously slow ones that update

That makes sense. I have one of those rainbow E Sims they call it mine switches between dish, tmobile, ATNT it shows that if I really want to I have the option to pick one of the connections and can change it out

This will not change your update server.  That was set by the sim the moment you installed it, you are on the update server of which ever carrier you pay your monthly bill to.

I pay it to boost but I'm not sure which network im assigned to I guess. They make it confusing

Boost mobile is whom you get your updates from, or they use a specific carrier's update server,but it is locked in, unless your phone restarts every time it changes carriers.
