That can the the problem as the phone will be looking for att server for updates you can try putting in a attvsim card and check that way

Samsung s23 ultra will not update. Still on android 14 ui 6 **bleep**!!!! Tried everything to update my phone!!!!

I have T-Mobile also on my Galaxy S10 Tablet...
I activated my S10 locked tablet for a month when I bought it brand new and I was getting updates just fine...
After the month was up I was no longer getting updates...
Do I have to stay connected to T-Mobile in order to get updates?

Possibly. May be a restriction they implement somewhere in the firmware. I'm not 100%, as this is an issue I've never even heard of or read about, let alone experienced personally.

If you are locked to a carrier, then yes, that's why you always buy unlocked and bring it to a carrier
