Verizon Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

I have done everything that has been suggested and still no luck. I've been trying for 3 days now. Samsung needs to make this right.

I agree. They should send out mass notifications on when issue should be fixed.

Galaxy s23fe, same issue, both error code 407 and 500.

I have a fold z 5 and I keep getting error code 500 when trying to download my update

SOLUTION: At least for me.

OK ive been fighting with this update for 3 days. I FINALLY resolved it. heres how.

Background: I tried everything that has been discussed in the forum with the exception of a factory reset which i was about to do. Nothing worked. I finally downloaded smart switch to my laptop and ran a backup of my phone onto my laptop. at the end of the backup, smart switch identified the update and asked if i wanted to update the software. Yes to that, it downloaded it and then installed it no issue. Man i hope this works for a lotta folks cuz you can see from this forum, it is a huge issue. My wife has the exact same phone and had no problem with the software....go figure....anyway, good luck

Can't download the new software 15.0 onto my Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra even after I reset my settings in my phone.
