I'm now being hounded by a company user for me complaining... his first move to explain its my phone and me and not the update. That's Samsungs plan apparently

A company user?  Are they identified as such?  I don't see anyone hounding you, unless they are sending you DMs, in which case you can block them from your DMs.

Thanks "stranger" 😉 your battery gave you trouble too? But then you followed the steps to fix it?

Interesting that you think everyone who responds who doesn't agree with your point of view is a bot or "company shill" who is gaslighting you.  This is the second post I've seen where you've made the accusation. You don't, apparently, know the meaning of gaslighting or how to tell the difference between a bot and a real person.

The fact of the matter is that, yes, the update is partially to blame for battery drain, but not in the way you think.  After EVERY major update the battery resets itself and must relearn your battery usage patterns.  Certain new features of an update may use up more battery resources until it normalizes.  The update is not 100% complete just because your watch installed it and rebooted.  It does things in the background for a couple of days while finishing up the install, looking for app compatibility and updates.  You should not be comparing battery usage for the first two weeks after an update to what it was before.

Partially! And why are you even here reading these ? Is this just a hobby.. to sift through frustrated customer's responses and "manage" after them? Let us know when Samsung decides to do the right thing and patch this debacle. It literally was fine ... N O W IT IS NOT. SO STOP trying to worm your way into actual logic with "have ya tried clearing the cache" banal nonesense. Ridiculous.

I don't understand. Am I a bot or not?  Bots don't read. I am not a representative of Samsung, nor do I work for Samsung.  I am just another user like you and I know how things work.  I am not stalking you, you just happen to turn up in posts that I read with very much the same complaint in each one.  If you are frustrated and want your voice to be heard by Samsung, you will have to give feedback to the developers through the link in the support tab of the members app.  Otherwise, you are just shouting to other users, who you think are all bots anyway, so why bother to even post?

You are and this page ARE EXACTLY why you don't do this on a 3rd party like reddit or Facebook. You can't control and massage the angry users

This isn't even your post, yet you seem to have taken it over from the OP.  You are free to go shout on reddit if you think you are being gaslighted here.

You'll want to clear the cache Partition using the bootloader... hold the Volume Up or Down key while pressing the Power key, and hold that until you see the Samsung logo on the display, and let go when you do. You'll use the Volume Up/Down buttons to select 'Wipe Cache Partition', and then 'Yes' at the prompt. This will ONLY clear temporary files that may be left behind after OneUI updates. I do this after EVERY software update on my GS23 Ultra. Don't worry, you won't be resetting the phone (unless you hit the option for Factory Reset in the bootloader menu, in which case once you select 'Yes', it factory resets the phone). This has been known to improve battery life a bit.
