Update causing Battery drain S23

This update makes my phone drain it's battery every minute every minute, before it used to last 1 or 2 days active use, now it doesn't even last an hour, the ui all of it sucks, Samsung really needs to re think there terrible design, they need to fire all people that created this horrid trashy ui

Haha no I am not just trying to help someone deal with change if you're stuck in the old and don't like change then fine for you. But I'm afraid dear person that you will be left behind which from reading this comment you don't mind that at all. No you can not go back and I'm quite sure you had the option just as everyone else did to NOT push the button that said update. Since you did push the button join the party. There will always be an update as technology changes. So either accept it or stop pressing the update button. If you had a moment to make this comment then you had time to go look at a video to figure out how to change whatever it is you're on here "researching" for. Have a good day.

Hi, if you are asking me. I can confirm it worked for me that is. Did the update, updated all apps, limited what apps were using location on the background and cleared the cache. My phone works amazingly.

Try wiping the cache partition in recovery. This is a major update. Wiping the cache is a must after big updates.

No.  It will only clear out leftover temporary files that may be interfering with normal operations of the phone.

Быстрый разряд батареи после установки One UI 7. С момента установки прошло 3 дня, и лучше не стало. Раньше к вечеру оставалось 40%, сейчас 20%. Также некорректно отображается время работы, и в информации о взаимодействии с акб показывает не с последней зарядки, а за целые сутки. Это очень неудобно, и нет возможности рассчитать, хватит ли заряда на тот или иной промежуток времени.

What also sucks is the media player... when you play Spotify and turn the screen off till its locked, the media is at the bottom center in a little azz pill size display instead of the original center of screen layout.

It will drain faster because right now your phone is moving files, downloading new apps, realigning stuff. Give it a couple of days.
This is normal for a OS upgrade.
