Dear Samsung,

why does the device require a data connection to turn off Galaxy AI?

It completely eludes me why it would need a network connection to manage Galaxy AI settings. Shouldn't the master switch be available before I get into anything? It appears weird and creepy to me. It says it's going to notify me when it would send data for AI features. So, why? Why does it ask me for a connection before I even get to the kill switch?

I might be wrong. So, I would appreciate help how to turn off AI before I connect it to any network.

I did not program the operating system. That's Google/Samsung. send feedback to them.

It's because AI resides on the web, not your phone, so you cannot adjust any controls without the connection.

That is exactly the point. It's the wrong way around. You should require connection to actually enable it. It's not the device I bought. It came without AI but received this firmware with no choice.

Just turn on your connection and disable the AI. Or, don't, and then you can't use AI. If you don't want to use AI, then don't. You are not required to, and AI can't do anything unless you direct it to.

I accept reality. It's the way it is.

The fact that AI features reside remotely does not make it a necessity to actually connect to it to tell it to stop. It should always be the other way around. It should be an active decision to connect to remote features and not a necessity.

I'm actively looking for alternative firmware. Probably Android for now. But not sure how long this will be viable. K thx bye.

Galaxy AI and all other AIs are based on the internet. You need data or wifi to turn it off.

I have had nothing but trouble with this galaxy s25 ultra. My internet provider has flagged it as hacked. I hear weird beeps and have apps show up with out downloading by me. How or what do I do to fix this. I've had it just about 1 month.
