Touchscreen glitching

Hi all, my s23 ultra has been experiencing some touch screen issues. Sometimes when my phone is just idling and I turn on the screen my touchscreen wont respond to my finger. Sometimes when i restart the phone it works fine for the rest of the day. Or I'll go a day or 2 with no glitches. Other times itll glitch every 2 to 3 hours. Sometimes when Im actively using my phone itll start to glitch, itll respond to my finger but itll become laggy. No distinct pattern. Ive tried several things, updating the touch firmware, restarting the phone, update the Google play service and clearing data, and clearing the catch wipe partition, and i feel like my last resort might be to factory reset? I'm on one ui7 android 15 if that helps. This is my first samsung device so Im not sure if its a software or hardware issue and wanted to see if anyone else has had similar problems? Thanks.

I would suggest using the Diagnostic tests in the Support tab to see what they indicate. If nothing shows up and you've already tried everything else, I would back up your device and perform a reset to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, you will need to contact a service center to have it checked.

Thank you for the response. I have tried the diagnostic test in the support tab. During a glitch, it doesn't register my finger. After a restart, I run it again and it works fine with my finger. No dead spots or ghost touches.

Yeah, I would recommend backing up your device and then performing a reset to see if that resolves the issue. If not, you'll need to have it tested at a service center to determine the cause.

Is it possible it's maybe a screen protector causing this touch issue?

As maybe too marked up and in rough shape effecting the digital screen response.

YES I HAVE HAD THAT PROBLEM FOR SOME MONTHS NOW ALONG WITH MY TALK TO TEXTING MY PHONE DOES NOT TEXT MY WORDS I HAD REMOTE SERVICES DONE THAT LASTED FOR ABOUT A WEEK RIGHT NOW I'M TALK TEXTING AND I'M SURE I'VE GOT SOME TYPOS IN HERE I'M ALMOST TO THE POINT WHERE I'M GOING TO JUST UPGRADE MY PHONE EVEN THOUGH I'VE ONLY HAD THIS PHONE FOR A YEAR IT'S STILL VERY GOOD CONDITION AND NOW I'VE GOT THIS POP UP THAT POPS UP ALL THE TIME THE SAYING ERROR VALIDATING THIS DEVICE I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS BUT IT'S REALLY MAKING ME MAD CUZ I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S TRYING TO VALIDATE I'VE DONE EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN MENTIONED IN ALL THESE COMMENTS AND THEN SOME AND I THINK I'M JUST GOING TO PROBABLY HAVE TO UPGRADE I'M NOT EVEN DONE PAYING ON THIS PHONE YET SO YES I FEEL YOUR PAIN AND YOUR STRUGGLE I AM GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING!!

Why is it talk texting in all caps?  You don't say what your problem is in talk texting - is it that it is texting in all caps? Turn the caps lock key off. In any case, have you ever backed up and reset your phone?  You might want to try that before buying a new device.

Because I believe she asked anybody else having any problems and yes I am if that's okay with you I wasn't posting up here for my problems mine's been going on for quite some time
