Itās unknown when T-Mobile will push the Dec security update they still have 20 days left to push it.

Carriers with the exception of AT&T, have no control over when updates are pushed because they come from the manufacturer. AT&T has a deal with Samsung where AT&T hosts the update to use that as leverage over AT&T customers to not take their devuices to use on their competition, because those devices without an AT&T SIM will not get updates for their AT&T U devices.
