There was an update, and the speech to text microphone moved

I'm a gig worker and I'm on the road quite a bit. There are restrictions for phone use while driving. They move the microphone on speech detext from the center of the screen in the choice bar to the left lower corner. This has been a problem consistently because tapping it Closes the text window that you have open. Can you all move it back?

To the center i've noticed there was a lot of posts about this issued. Also, and the answer wasn't very good

It was the UI 6.1 update.

Unfortunately there's no way to move the microphone. No word yet if UI 7 will change that. You'll have to use another keyboard app like Swiftkey or Gboard.

Nope not as of yet. Not sure if anything will change in UI 7 or not. I absolutely hate it bc it still gives you the option to hold the space bar but you have to still have the icon in the lower left corner. Such a bad move. I've switched to Gboard for speech text
