Software update

I just finiahed a software update. For some odd reason it's still at..15. does anyone know why it didn't update to android 16?

Its done this twice now

 the dwme android version of 15 before the update.

Probably because One UI 8/Android 16 hasn't been released yet.

I notice your Google Play system update is out of date. Is that what you're referring to?

No the software version of my phone. I thought version 16 was out already.
If it's behind, can it be updated?

16 is only officially released for Google Pixel devices at this time and Samsung Fold / Flip 7

One UI 8 will release to the S25 in September and the S23 will receive the Beta in the same month

Technically, it hasn't been released as an update yet, but it is currently available on the Fold 7 and Flip 7.
