My s23 ultra can not and has not found any updates pretty much since ive owned it i got it brand new from at&t when it came out and it is still stuck on one ui 5.1 and android version 13. Ive tried and tried to find an update but it wont find one and i know it cant be right. I bought it dirrectly from at&t brand new in box. Anytime i search for an update is says "software update interrupted" and "no update is available at this time try again in 24 hours" i dont know what to do

Both my S21+ did this. I took them to a ubreakIfix shop and they force updated it. After that, it updated OTA normally. With AT&T...

Im currently sitting here with smart things trying to force the update so we will see how it goes i called my local fix it shop and samsung and both told me to try smart things first before taking it anywhere

There are a couple of things you can try - One is to contact AT&T tech support and see if they can assist you.  If you have a computer, you can can connect your phone, download Smart Switch for computer and try to force the update.  If you are near a uBreakiFix location, you can see if they can load an update (there may or may not be a charge for this).  I have to ask, though, why you didn't start looking for solutions when your device did not update to Android 14 almost 2 years ago?  Have you been getting security and Play system updates?

I got security and play system updates like normal so i honestly didnt even think about it. Recently my service and phone battery have been garbage so i started digging around and found that my software was severely outdated i honestly thought it had been doing auto updates since i had that turned on 🫠 i called at&t tech support and they basically told me to **bleep** off. We are going to be leaving at&t once our phones are full paid off in a few months because their cell service and customer service are garbage
Im trying smart switch now and it seems like its doing the update just slowly

You are going to have a lot of updates to install to get current. They all have to install individually! The s23 series is on the 38th update. It's going to take a long time to get there.

You will also when you get to Ui7 some drastic change in the Ui.

Yeah, I always thought that AT&T was useless with the advent of smart phones.  In the past it was very difficult to switch carriers, but since it became easier and once I hit the breaking point with AT&T, I switched to T-Mobile and haven't regretted it.
