Ringtone randomly stops working or ends call

I've recently been trying to put a custom ring tone transferring after converting a video to a audio file, sometimes the song I put randomly cuts out, or it has even randomly ended the call before if I don't pick up fast enough. Does anyone know a fix or why this happens?

Has the issue only happened with this single ringtone that you converted from a video to audio file, or have you experienced this before with other custom ringtones?

I've tried it with 2 videos converted to audio just to see if it was something wrong with the song I picked. It seems to do this whenever. The audio file being to long or short isn't the problem

I would take it to your carrier and see if they can help you. Cause ringtones shouldn't be ending calls early. First, you could try to clear your cache partition, if that is not successful, maybe a factory reset (backup your phone) would fix the issue.

Alright thanks, the default ring tones work fine it's really only costume ones, though where do I clear my cache?

Follow the steps below,

Clear the cache partition
- Turn phone off (shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Side key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, then press the Side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Side key to restart the device.

This won't erase any of your data. All of that will be safe.

Do I need a computer to do this?

Nope, just follow the procedure on your phone. Just be careful not to tap on "wipe data/factory reset" option cause that will remove all your data.
