Option to show more than 3 notification icons instead of a dot

On One UI 7, the highest number of notifications that it'll put in the top notification bar is 3. I used to have it set ti unlimited, but I can't find that option anymore. 

Was it removed? If it was removed, why? Why remove an option, instead of just leaving it there for us? Quit thinking you know how your consumers want to use their phone better than they do, Samsung!

take a look at the beta of UI 8, nothing will change. The important icons are still hidden. It's so pitiful... 😠

Hidden, but not gone.  You can still view them if you need reassurance that everything is working well.  I actually like the secondary status bar, keeps things uncluttered and cleaner on the main navigation bar.  I understand that some people do not find this acceptable, as their need to see every function of the device is strong and they are far, far too busy to give a slight swipe down on the screen to view them.

you know what makes it worse?

for me it's a black dot! on a status bar filled with white icons!

why is it the wrong color?

Genuinely, not going to buy another Samsung phone until this gets fixed.

And I know it's technically a "decision" not something to be "fixed." . . . But just because you break something on purpose, doesn't mean you should leave it broken.

Same here. Absolute crazy UX 'upgrade' . I waited so long before I did the upgrade and now wish I hadn't bothered. This is just such a frustrating modification to something which worked perfectly well. Sack the UI designer who made this choice. Atrocious decision!

I've been Samsung fanboy for my entire life.. ever since my first phone until now,

And an important reason was because of the UI Samsung offers...

I just bought a new S25+ as an upgrade and i actually got frustrated by this issue..

I can't see any reason why would Samsung do such thing..

And i don't care if it's Google or Android related thing, i bought a SAMSUNG phone not a pixel one, 

It's just small stupid things like that actually matter a lot... it's like the last small pinch of salt that you forgot to add and ruined the whole recipe.

So please don't disappoint me and fix it in the next update, i don't want to change the idea of Samsung phones i have in mind,

I had other problems too but some of them were not that big and i could just live with it and others i could find a fix or  workaround, but this one i couldn't, and i don't want to use third party apps like (good lock) or any alternatives i deserve a native fix !!

You have an Android phone.  The operating system is created, programmed and owned by Google.  It does not matter that it's a SAMSUNG device, Google dictates.  It would be the same with any brand of Android phone.  That being said, the three notification icons are because of the space taken up/reserved for the now bar (whether you use it or not).  I don't see why even if Samsung reserved space for the now bar which is part of OneUI, the rest of the navigation bar can't be utilized for more notification icons for those that want them - especially since the status icons have been relegated to the secondary status bar. But, that's just my opinion.  My guess is they were going for a more sleek, streamlined, uncluttered look.
