Why doesn't samsung do their betas like Apple, I can't get the beta because I have a carrier locked At&t s23, I don't see any reason why a big company like samsung not be able to do it.

My main question here was, why are Iphone's betas 100x better

Because unlike the Android ecosystem, iOS update is managed 100% by Apple regardless of the carrier. Android update is managed by carriers, and they decide how and when to push the updates on their network. Unlocked devices usually get the beta firmware because they don't have a carrier modified firmware running on them.

Thank you. That is the reason, right there. Apple's "walled garden" approach gives them complete control over updates and betas. In the Android world, software updates are driven by the carriers and their respective policies.

Yeah this whole thing is lame the pixels are already beta testing android 16 meanwhile we can't even get the beta with Android 15 just because samsung is pushing sales for the s25 ...lame as **bleep**
