I have extend unlock for trusted places on. Earlier I would lock my phone, but it will be unlocked because of extend unlock, but pressing the lock button on top would lock the phone and ask for password or fingerprint. With oneUI 6.1 update I am no longer able to do so.
Are you long pressing the lock on the top of the screen

Yeah its a long press on it now if you could please like and in the 3 dot menu in the comment mark as solved and Thanks for being a Loyal Samsung Member

You hold the Lock for a couple secs and the phone will be locked

It wont repeat holding down the . key or * key if you want multiple you have to tap it multiple times
